An old WW1 Harley Davidson from 1917. A genuine barn find, hidden for over 30 years, nobody apart from just one person(now deceased) knew it was there. It’s a non runner that needs a good home. Unregistered but with a NOVA certificate. Mostly original still fitted with the original factory fitted Rogers sidecar. The bike has not been run since the magneto stopped sparking (perhaps about 5 years ago). Although the engine turns over the internals of the magneto are not going around. My best guess for the non rotation is the woodruff key on the magneto gear has sheared off. To find out you need to take the cover off which is a little awkward with the sidecar being the way. Even with it running it's still not that rideable because the brakes are so bad.
We also buy sidecars, please get in touch with us.
